The objective of this website is to index registers from Bohemia and other parts of the former Austro-Hungarian Empire and make them searchable for genealogists and interested parties.
Starting with the birth, marriage and death register from Neuwelt (Nový Svět) from 1789 to 1816, the index currently includes:
- 2444 Individuals
- 725 Families
- 2440 source-verified Events
- 30 Places
In addition to entries for individuals from the three indexed registers, there are source-based events of their family members dating back to 1700.
Although the vast majority of sources are from the Roman Catholic Church, the index also contains a few Jewish records from what is now Czechia.
Searching the index is free of charge. If you would like more information or additional search options, you can register for free and choose from the paid plans ‘Source’, “Family” and ‘FamilyPlus’.
